Open Day at Bury Masonic Hall

Open Day at Bury Masonic Hall

Sunday 1st October 2017 saw Bury Masonic Hall open its doors to the public as part of the Tercentenary celebrations. The weather was against us somewhat but we still had people attending.
All of the degrees who meet at Bury Masonic Hall were represented and in regalia. The lodge room itself was open and a Royal Arch Chapter had been set up downstairs.
Fine Dine, the caterers, provided nibbles, tea and coffee and had set the dinning room up to show how weddings and other functions can be supported by the hall.
As a result of the open day we have had we had eight expressions of interest for membership, three hall bookings and many people enlightened as they were shown around.
I think these open days are fantastic. If we can I recommend all the halls open their doors every couple of years.
