ELMC GRANT FOR CHURCH & OSWALDTWISTLE CRICKET CLUB

Church & Oswaldtwistle Cricket Club have been using the time during lockdown to improve many aspects of the facilities at the ground.

Club volunteers have been working tirelessly, carrying out essential maintenance and improvements to encourage wider use by the local community.

The club approached East Ribble District Freemasons who helped them to apply for a grant from the East Lancashire Masonic Charity.  The Charity were happy to award a grant of £1,800 which will be used to build new Assisted Bathroom facilities, helping the club take a step closer to achieving their vision of becoming accessible to all.

Pictured are club secretary Andrew Bentley and Ffion, a junior cricket player from the club, receiving the cheque from East Ribble Charity Steward Malcolm Roe.
