Workshop Schedule – 2014

New PGLEL Mentoring Programme:  Workshop Schedule – 2014

A core purpose of the PGLEL Mentoring Programme is to ensure that all Brethren have Fun, Enjoyment and Fulfilment via their membership of the Craft – and as a consequence of this, members can be expected to retain their membership not for just a few years, but more often for their lifetime. In support of this, within the Mentoring Programme focus is given to ensure ‘Belonging’, ‘Understanding’ and ‘Involvement’, particularly for newer members.
The ‘2014 Workshop Schedule’ will consider that most important matter, ‘BELONGING’. In addition to a presentation by District Mentors on why ‘Belonging’ matters so much and the ways in which it might be enhanced, attendees will be asked to work in small groups to identify and then present how they believe ‘Belonging’ may be further facilitated, both within and beyond the Lodge Room. It is anticipated that this feedback gained via members from across the Province, will be published as a mentoring support guide in the future.
In addition to Lodge Mentors, Lodge Directors of Ceremonies and Worshipful Masters and all Brethren (especially newer members) are strongly encouraged to attend the PGLEL Mentoring Workshops in their District.
For those who are unable to attend on the date of the Workshop in their own Districts, they should make contact with their District Mentor who will arrange for their attendance at a Workshop in another District, as per the following Schedule.
