The Recruitment Cycle / Where to start
 The first step in developing a structured recruitment programme is to appoint a Lodge Membership Officer (LMO).
The LMO will then assist the Lodge to create a clear Recruitment Strategy.
The LMO will also liaise with the members, ensuring good implementation of the strategy, recording and supporting the relevant activities.
At the District level, the LMO will meet with the District Members Officer (DMO) as well as LMOs from other local Lodges. This will create a good opportunity to share experiences and give/receive support.
The Lodge members will review the Strategy at agreed intervals to assess performance against targets and the Strategy can be adjusted accordingly.
