The Provincial Grand Lodge of East Lancashire and the Provincial Grand Chapter of East Lancashire (the Provinces) are committed to ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

For the progression and use of data held by the Provinces of East Lancashire, there are two types of compliance:
A
A registered member of the Province[s] agrees to the use of his personal data for membership purposes and for contact by the Province[s], or by an agent of the Province[s] (usually the ELMC or the 2015 Festival Committee), for the purpose of advertising an event or in connection with correspondence between the Province[s] / agent of the Province[s].
B
Where the Province[s] allows the Brother / Companion to access data held by the Province[s] for the purpose of membership administration.
A Brother / Companion giving authority to the Province[s] under Section A, above, should complete and return Form A
to the Provincial Secretariat.
Where the Province[s] agree to the Brother / Companion using data held by the Provinces, application Form B should be made to the Provincial Grand Secretary.
