Sponsored Slim - In Aid Of the 2015 Festival

“I always seem to make promises at Installation meetings that I regret the next morning” Those were the comments made by WBro Martin Caller the APGM for the Manchester Districts of Sykes and Starkie.

At the Installation meeting of his Mother Lodge Zion Menorah, No. 1978 on Wednesday 13 January. Martin announced that he would go on a Sponsored Slim in aid of the 2015 Festival, with the aim of losing 2½ stone by 30 June 2010. Martin says, he was prompted by the Master of the Lodge!

Having made this foolish offer, Martin thought he would elicit the help of his esteemed colleagues in the Province. Therefore, if you as an individual or a Lodge/Chapter feel that you are able to support Martin please sign and return the attached form. These can be left at the Reception desk in FMH, Bridge Street, marked for Martin’s attention, or mailed to the address on the sponsorship form.

We hope you are able to support not only Martin, but also the 2015 Festival. Thank you for your support and a big thank you to Martin!

Parachute Jump
In Aid of the RMBI 2015 Festival

Mrs Pauline Hayes the wife of WBro Len Hayes the District Chairman for City Sykes District, will be doing a Parachute Jump in aid of the 2015 Festival.
This will take place at the Black Knights Parachute Centre, Cockerham, Lancashire, on Sunday 13th June 2010 (Weather permitting). This is a big-hearted offer by Pauline on behalf of the Festival. WBro David Thompson (Festival Chairman) said at the Festival launch Banquet, ‘Rather you than me Pauline’
At the Banquet a total of £1,250.00 was pledged by friends and Brethren in the Province. By completing the attached the form, this is your opportunity to sponsor Pauline in this superlative gesture in helping to raise money for the Festival.
Please return your form pledging your donation and return either to Pauline at the home address shown on the form or you can leave it at the reception desk in Freemasons' HAll, Bridge Street, for the attention of WBro Len Hayes.
