- Craft Freemasonry
Freemasons meet in Masonic Lodges. Each Lodge has a name and a number. Usually a number of Lodges come together to share the same venue, usually a Masonic Hall, though not necessarily. Masonic Halls are grouped together to form a Masonic District. Each District usually has a name and a number. A District Team is responsible for the organisation and well-being of the Members and Lodges in its District. Finally, Districts are combined to form an Area – with the responsibility of each Area being given to an Assistant Provincial Grand Master (APGM).
