Hewlett Court is a residential home for East Lancashire Masons and their wives, widows, unmarried daughters and unmarried sisters - and those with Masonic connections [at the discretion of the Management Committee] - who are ambulant, in reasonable health and over pensionable age. It is not a Convalescent Home or a Nursing Home, and consequently reports are obtained from each applicants own Medical Practitioner.
