The East Lancashire Masonic Golf Society
The Derby Cup This is the principal event in the Provincial golfing year, and is presented to the winner by the Provincial Grand Master at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge.
This event is open to all East Lancashire Masons who have a bona fide handicap and are members of a recognised Golf Club.

This year's event was held at Swinton Park Golf Club on Tuesday, 14 July 2009.

The Arthur Axford Trophy is a knock-out competition played over the summer months.
An invitation Day was played on Tuesday, 19 May 2009 at Knott End Golf Club. This competition is open to Society members and their guests, who may or may not be Masons.

The Jimmy Hemsley Salver is a new trophy which has been provided in memory of RWBro James D Hemsley, a past Golf Society President, who devoted much time and effort to the Society. It is a 9 hole competition and it will be followed by the Society's Annual General Meeting. The venue is Breightmet Golf Club, Bolton and will be held on
Friday, 16 October 2009.

Derby Bowling Cup
The presentation to the winner of this event is held at Provincial Grand Lodge in November.

This year's competition was held at the Barrfield Club, 91 Bolton Road, Salford, M6 7EH on Saturday, 15 August 2009.
