- The Companions assemble in the Chapter Room
- Opening Hymn
- The Chapter is opened.
- The Chapter Scribe E reads a Dispensation [if appropriate].
- The ME Grand Superintendent is admitted accompanied by the Provincial Deputation.
- The Third Provincial Grand Principal recites an Opening Prayer.
- The ME Grand Superintendent addresses the Companions on the purpose of the Meeting.
- The Provincial Grand Scribe E addresses the ME Grand Superintendent.
- The ME Grand Superintendent gives direction.
- The Provincial Grand Scribe E reads the Certificate of Amalgamation.
- The Third Provincial Grand Principal delivers an Oration.
- A number of the Companions of the Amalgamated Chapter are arranged around the Banners.

- The ME Grand Superintendent sprinkles salt, the symbol of hospitality and friendship.
- The Third Provincial Grand Principal takes the censer around the Chapter, reciting Exodus 30 Verses 7 and 8.
- The Third Provincial Grand Principal recites the Amalgamation Prayer.
- The ME Grand Superintendent affirms the Amalgamation of the Chapters.
- The Companions sing “Let us have Harmony”.
- The Companions of the Amalgamated Chapter resume their seats.
