Draft Letter for APGP to use when applying to the ME Grand Superintendent for a Certificate of Amalgamation from the ME First Grand Principal.

Following a suitable period of liaison and discussion under my supervision, the following Chapters have decided to merge and the appropriate resolutions have been passed [see copy letters attached from the Scribe E’s].

Chapter No …….    will be submitted for erasure.  [It has been agreed further that the name of the continuing Chapter will be amended to ………………, in order to reflect this merger.

I wish to confirm that ………. Companions from ………. Chapter and ………. Chapter ………. Chapter………. Chapter have/ will become joining Members of …………….. Chapter at the last/next meetings, of the latter.

Accordingly, on behalf of the above Chapters, I formally request that a Certificate of Amalgamation be sought from the ME First Grand Principal.  The Charters of the Chapters are available for transmission to London in support of your application.
