1. Why this Document
1.1. This document defines what a Lodge should do if it finds itself in difficulty with respect to falling numbers.
2. The Area it Covers
2.1. This document is applicable to all Lodges within the Masonic Province of East Lancashire.
3. Definitions
3.1. Province
: The Masonic Province of East Lancashire
3.2. Deciding Committee
: All members of the Lodge, including Country and Honorary Members
4. Procedure
4.1. Deciding Committee.
The Deciding Committee should meet to discuss the following:-
4.1.1. Is the Lodge to continue in the present form? If yes then no further action is required.
4.1.2. Is the Lodge to hand back the Warrant and close? If yes, then go to the Draft letter to the Provincial Grand Master stating this.
4.1.3. Is the Lodge to amalgamate – if yes then go to AMAL01
