6 Provincial Grand Chapter 26th March 2009 - The Banquet

The Companions reveled in the celebrations which followed the Provincial Grand Chapter meeting.

Jack Price was in excellent form as he toasted his colleagues, distinguished guests from other Provinces and Orders and, most importantly, the newly invested Companions of Provincial Grand Chapter.

Jack's health was proposed by Comp Ed Cheadle, AProvGP, who spoke of Jack's approachability and friendliness and wished him health and strength for the challenges which lay ahead.

In response Jack spoke of our common purpose - to share the joys of Freemasonry with each other and to know, care and nurture our colleagues, Chapters, Lodges and colleagues.

He advised that we should all be looking to what we can contribute to Freemasonry and the Royal Arch. We can all take from it love and respect - but we need to earn and justify it first!

He said he had had a good day with tremendous support from the Province. He then proposed a right hearty toast to the newly appointed and promoted Companions.

Companion Carl Dinsdale, ProvGSN, (right) responded to this toast and conveyed sincere thanks stating that each Officer appreciated their collective responsibility and pledged that they would promote and work for the success of the Royal Arch.

He added that the MEGSupt leads from the front and today had been given profound support, most notably from the Companions present and especially the Secretariat and DC's teams.
