5 Provincial Grand Chapter 26th March 2009 - Appointments, Promotions and Re-appointments
The MEGSupt re-appointed Comp Allan Bennion, PAGSoj as the Deputy Grand Superintendent, Comp Roy Taylor, PAGSoj as Second Provincial Grand Principal and Comp Rev'd Donald Pryce, PGStB, as Third Provincial Grand Principal. All three were proclaimed by the Provincial DC and applauded.

The MEGSupt expressed his gratitude to Comps Fred Whittingham, David Thornton and Ian Lord for the excellent work they had completed while in office as DORAs.
He also announced that Comp Allan Bennion is to be promoted to the Grand Rank of PGSwdB and Comp Christopher John Bolton to PAGSoj at the Royal Arch Investiture in 2009. The following are to be appointed to PGStB - Comps Norman Clarke, Philip John Conn, Ivan Eastwood and Alexander Sillars McLaren.
The MEGSupt then moved on to the Provincial appointments and promotions. Before the Provincial Grand Scribe E (left) announced them, Comp Price thanked all for the work they have undertaken and, of course, in anticipation of what they will do in the future. He said that their Chapters will know the rank that each has been appointed reflects not only what has been achieved in their own Chapters but also in many cases, the work they do within the District of the Province and in the community.

Thus a superb Provincial Grand Chapter Meeting ended and the recessional columns departed amidst a storm of clapping - accolade befitting an excellent get together led by a tremendous Grand Superintendent.
