"Should we or Shouldn't we"
The half yearly meeting of of the East Lancashire Provincial Grand Officers' Chapter was, as always, a thoroughly relaxing, warm and enjoyable evening. The First Principal, EComp H Alan J Garnett (below) welcomed the companions at the opening of the Chapter and thanked them for their support - it was lovely to see the Chapter so well supported.
Alan had a number of pleasant duties to perform including congratulating those members recently appointed to Grand Rank in Supreme Grand Chapter. These included EComps Ed Cheadle, Kevin Horne, Stuart Hughes and David Thornton - all receiving the rank of Past Grand Standarf Bearer. Alan also welcomed no less than 11 joining members to the Chapter.

Alan then invited the ME Grand Superintendent, Comp Jack Price, to announce the Three Principals nominated for the ensuing year. The 1st Principal will be EComp David Thompson (below) - who is qualified for the office beyond reproach. The 2nd Principal will be EComp John Jackson, known to us all for many years, and the 3rd Principal will be EComp Jack Preston who quietly goes about his business, has contributed so much, especially in the North of the Province. All are great characters and worthy masons.
