Jack Price, PGM, David Williamson, AsstGM and Frank Baxendale, WM Monday 11th May was the Installation meeting of the East Lancashire Provincial Grand Stewards' Lodge, No. 8408, and at the invitation of the newly Installed Master, Bro. Frank Baxendale, the event was graced with a visit from the Right Worshipful Assistant Grand Master, David Kenneth Williamson. During a splendid ceremony, WBro Paul Rose, PSGD, PAPGM, ably installed his successor. The Stewards' Lodge has a membership comprising many notable brethren, all invited to join after their prestigious appointment to Provincial Grand Steward in the Craft. WBro Baxendale has served the Lodge as its Secretary for the last 5 years and well deserved the selection and election to Mastership. And in Frank's words, the Lodge is, "The Premier Northern Provincial Grand Stewards' Lodge"!
A vibrant and delectable festive board was graced with a top table of many well known faces (including Warwick Davenport, who we managed to catch with his hand in his pocket offering to buy a round to the astonishment of those around him)::
