MAMR Summer Outing


During this centenary year of the Manchester Association for Masonic Research, we have been looking closely at the history of the Association. One of the practices of our early colleagues was to arrange a summer outing, not only for Association Members, but for their friends and families too.

The opportunity to visit a local landmark of interest to Freemasons seemed a good excuse to revive the custom and a trip was held to visit St. Edmund's Church in Rochdale on Saturday 13th June 2009 with a meal afterwards at Middleton Masonic Hall.
