Since 1984, The Freemasons' Grand Charity has donated over £8 million towards the operating costs of hospice services across England and Wales.
In 2009, individual grants ranged from £500 to over £6,000, and totalled £500,000. In addition to this Lifelites was awarded £150,000, to provide specialist education and recreation technology for children in hospices.
Grants are made, on an annual basis, towards the operating costs of hospice services for adults and/or children:
