East Ribble District Forthcoming Events



Sunday Dances at the Adelaide Suite on the 1st & 3rd Sundays in the month. Doors open at 7.00pm and dancing will start at 7.30pm. See Poster and visit the website here.

Tuesday 28th October - Charity Stewards & Festival Representatives Meeting to be held at 7:00pm at Mill House Masonic Hall

Friday 31st October - Keep lodge at Clitheroe are hosting the Burnley and Pendle demonstration team, who will be re-enacting a 1st degree ceremony from 1759 in costume of the period. The Lodge tyles at 6.30pm and following the meeting there will be a meal at the Swan and Royal. Also in attendance will be our Assistant Provincial Grand Master Worshipful Brother Martin Paul Roche. The cost of the meal is £15.00 with cheques made payable to Keep Lodge and sent to David Bristol, 11 Southfield Drive, West Bradford, Clitheroe, Lancs, BB7 4TU.

Friday 7th November - East Ribble District Royal Arch Chapter Dinner at the Adelaide Suite, Accrington. ALL Masons welcome. Be amazed by John D Scott, guitarist with Eddison Lighthouse. 7:00 for 7:30pm. £28pp. Proceeds in aid of the 2015 Festival. For further information please contact Bill Fishwick on 01254 392502. Donations of Raffle Prizes would be greatly appreciated.

Saturday 8th November - Albert Edward Lodge Ladies Social at Mill House.

Saturday 15th November - Old Blackburnian Lodge 7933 will be holding their Ladies Evening Dinner/Dance in Big School

Sunday 16th November - East Lancashire Hospice Christmas Fayre 2014. Volunteers needed to support this annual event.

Thursday 20th November - Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting at KIng George's Hall, Blackburn at 3:00pm

Sunday 7th December - The East Ribble District Carol Service at Holy Trinity, Oswaldtwistle at 2:30pm. See poster.

Thursday 15th January 2015 - The Education and Development Committee are pleased to announce a series of workshops to assist in developing the skills and knowledge of Lodge and Chapter Treasurers. The workshops will be presented in an informal and interactive format by members of the Education and Development Committee, including an experienced Treasurer with a financial management background. They will be advising on the role of the Treasurer, introducing the new Treasurers handbook and providing examples of suitable record systems, procedures and statutory requirements. Three workshops will be held throughout the Province, located on the basis of geography and convenience of travel as shown below: Workshop 3 - at Rossendale MH, Ashday Lea For Lodges and Chapters meeting at Bury, Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Padiham, Whalley, Accrington, Clayton le Moors, Clitheroe, Blackburn, Blackburn School, Darwen and Rawtenstall. The workshops will start at 7.00pm and are considered suitable for all Treasurers and Treasurers elect and have the full support of the APGMs and District Chairmen

Thursday 29th October 2015 - The Festival Dinner will be at the Reebok in Bolton. Ladies do not have to qualify as stewards, but brethren do to qualify for tickets. To be a steward a brother needs to have donated £75 to the Festival and purchased a Festival jewel at a cost of £20.
