The East Ribble District Charity Stewards Walk will take place at 10:30am, setting off from the Edisford Bridge Road car park and returning after a leisurely 7 mile stroll along the banks of the River Ribble.
Monday 22nd September - Fidelity Chapter 269
will have a hosted meeting at Blackburn Masonic Hall, and will have the ceremony of Passing the Veils demonstrated by a team of companions drawn from the Northern Area. The ceremony can only be performed once each year in the presence of the Grand Superintendent or his Deputy, and on this occasion it will be Sir David Trippier leading the Provincial team. All Royal Arch Masons are warmly invited to attend what will be a very special evening. See poster.
Tuesday 7 October - Hosted Meeting to be held at Clayton-le-Moors Masonic Hall by The Lodge of Amity and Rossendale Forest No. 283. The Lodge will be delighted to welcome RWBro Sir David Trippier, RD, JP, DL, The Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by a full Provincial Delegation. Sir David is keen to meet as many young (recently joined) Freemasons as possible so all are very warmly invited to this very special occasion.

Thursday 15th January 2015 - The Education and Development Committee are pleased to announce a series of workshops to assist in developing the skills and knowledge of Lodge and Chapter Treasurers.
The workshops will be presented in an informal and interactive format by members of the Education and Development Committee, including an experienced Treasurer with a financial management background. They will be advising on the role of the Treasurer, introducing the new Treasurers handbook and providing examples of suitable record systems, procedures and statutory requirements. Three workshops will be held throughout the Province, located on the basis of geography and convenience of travel as shown below:
Workshop 3 - at Rossendale MH, Ashday Lea
For Lodges and Chapters meeting at Bury, Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Padiham, Whalley, Accrington, Clayton le Moors, Clitheroe, Blackburn, Blackburn School, Darwen and Rawtenstall.
The workshops will start at 7.00pm and are considered suitable for all Treasurers and Treasurers elect and have the full support of the APGMs and District Chairmen
Thursday 29th October 2015 - The Festival Dinner will be at the Reebok in Bolton. Ladies do not have to qualify as stewards, but brethren do to qualify for tickets. To be a steward a brother needs to have donated £75 to the Festival and purchased a Festival jewel at a cost of £20.
