Bible Dedication at Earl Ellesmere Lodge No 678

At a regular meeting of Earl Ellesmere Lodge held on 5 th April 2006 the main item of business was a Bible Dedication Ceremony. The Bible formerly belonged to the Royal Salford lodge No 2988 until it merged with Zetland Lodge No 852 who kindly donated it to Earl Ellesmere Lodge. The Bible Dedication ceremony was attended by the The Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Bolton and Bury Districts W. Bro Philip Mountford, PSGD, The Provincial Grand Chaplain W. Bro Paul Rolfe, The Bolton District Chairman W. Bro Ian Thornton P.Prov.J.G.W accompanied by his District officers and Provincial Officers of the year.

The Bible bearer for the ceremony was W. Bro Ray Lucas P.Prov.J.G.W Immediate Past Master of Zetland Lodge, and the Bible Donor was W. Bro Malcolm Roberts P.A.G.Swd.B the Salford District Chairman. After the Bible had been carried around the Lodge in due ceremony W. Bro Paul Rolfe said the dedication prayer and W. Bro Philip Mountford presented it to the Worshipful Master of Earl Ellesmere Lodge No 678 Bro Roy Hindle.
